This entire episode consists of my saying this is the first episode as I walk down the stairs from the studio to the kitchen while casually posting some audio for all of my fans and posterity.
Finished reading: Finite and Infinite Games: A Vision of Life as Play and Possibility by James P. Carse 📚
A concise philosophical excursion which I finished reading over 25 years ago, but still find refreshingly applicable as I reread passages every now and then.
Still working on some mechanicals to establish sufficient intertwingledness.
A nice strong fresh cup of tea or a nice fresh strong cup of tea? The rhythm is the same, but I still prefer the second over the first and cannot yet say why.
Hello again, everyone. It seems important to talk about things. I am the kind of guy that needs to do this on a fairly regular basis. I mention this otherwise unremarkable fact only because it has been historically difficult for me to actually do anything like what I am now doing—that is, talking about things.
