It is lamentable. I’m not sure if progress means what I think it means anymore. Yesterday in some podcast I heard some guy say (unironically, if you can believe that) that the entirety of psychoanalysis and, mind you, and psychiatry was bull-hockey and dis-missable. I mean, where does one even start?
