@fgtech  These toys are helpful in so far as any toy helps with real world success, aids humans in getting better at, well the popular term is, “thriving”. I agree with your implication that nothing cognitive is actually happening in these devices. I would argue further that they can’t “contain” knowledge in any meaningful way. Information, sure, but beyond that…hmmph.

Of course this doesn’t mean that people won’t believe it. Look at the success of astrology, for example.
